Our Nursing Services Department
Our dedicated and caring nurses are on hand 24 hours a day, seven days a week to support individuals and improve overall wellness in the community. Please do not hesitate to contact a nurse for any health-related situation or question. If we are not the right person to help you, we’ll make sure you find the care you need.
Nurses can prescribe medications, treat infections, do bloodwork and other testing, immunize people, treat minor injuries and illness, and provide information on just about any medical issue.
Each Nisga’a community has its own nurse. To connect with a nurse, call your village clinic and schedule either a phone consultation or an in-person appointment.
