Late last month, our Mental Health staff and G̱alksi De’entkw ran a Sa-g̱aydim Haywis (cedar hat weaving) workshop. Marsha Moore, one of the participants, says it uplifted her in so many ways.

“We loved the safe learning space. The love and welcoming acceptance gave us that sense of belonging; the songs and the stories of our ancestors was a blessing. Thank you for bringing us together. We reconnected with our land, our families and old friends! It was a beautiful, heartwarming experience,” said Marsha.

We thank everyone who participated in the workshop. We can’t wait to see you all at another one soon!
