Dietitian
Our Dietitian, Caroline Doucet, is committed to helping people set and reach nutrition goals. . Her services help clients:
- Develop a healthier relationship with food
- Develop healthier eating habits
- Start + follow a plant-based diet
- Improve their heart and digestive health
- Manage diabetes and other health conditions
- Eat healthy during cancer treatment/pregnancy

Occupational Therapist
Emma Adams is our Rehabilitation Specialist and has a proven track record of helping clients achieve greater independence. Her services include:
- Evaluating clients’ conditions and needs
- Identifying ways to make clients’ homes safer for them
- Ordering special equipment for clients/teaching them how to use it
- Assessing clients’ progress and helping them overcome unforeseen challenges
- Helping organize/ run physical wellbeing + disease prevention workshops

Diabetes Nurse
Sagar Sandu is our part-time Diabetes Nurse. He goes above and beyond to ensure diabetics get the health care they need. He provides the following services:
- Wellness check-ins
- Exercise + dietary advice
- Assistance with glucose monitoring and insulin adjustments
- Foot checks
- Annual retinopathy (diabetes eye) checks
- Over-the-phone consultations
- Diabetes lab reviews and reminders

Art Therapist
Our Art Therapist, Morgan Reinsbakken, teaches art activities that help relieve stress and anxiety. Some of these activities include clay making, drawing, and painting.
She lives in the valley. She often works in schools and also provides one-on-one sessions with people of all ages.

Kinesiologists
Olivia Yung and David Lee are part-time, student kinesiologists with NVHA. With the support and help of our medical professionals, they can help you recover from an injury and smash your fitness goals.
Olivia and David live in Calgary and Vancouver, respectively. They provide most of their services virtually. To inquire about their services, please speak with your doctor.
We’re also looking to add a kinesiologist to the health care alliance team. The successful candidate will be based in the valley and help clients restore or maintain their mobility.
